Blue Ridge Mountain Tai Chi Nei Gung Retreat
Sunday June 24, through Friday June 29, 2001

'Get More Chi in Your Tai Chi' is the Taoist Arts Center's 2001 summer retreat located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  Taught by Susan Rabinowitz, this course focuses on health and healing and goes beyond just the physical moves and into the deeper levels at the heart of Tai Chi. Beginners enjoy learning the 5 Posture Wu Style Mini Form, (known for relieving stress and balancing the body). While those with prior knowledge of Tai Chi use the techniques learned in 'Get More Chi in Your Tai Chi' to deepen their understanding of their existing forms. Push Hands and Taoist Meditation are included. Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon culmination of the retreat.

Not just another vacation, everyone will enjoy these beautiful mountain top retreats.  Lodging, breakfast and lunch are included at the secluded Woodberry Inn where practices are held by the lake. Our camps are intended for students at all levels of experience. Small classes insure personal attention.

Participation in this camp will
     Relieve pain and tension
     Increase health and vitality
Stretch the muscles fully and safely
Release energy for relaxation, strength and calmness

Complete retreats include:
5 days of classes, with a minimum of 5 hours of lessons daily.
5 nights lodging including breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not included.

Our first 4 camps were great but the best ones are yet to come. Here are a few comments from our happy campers.

I loved the group energy and wonderful people I have met.  Susie has a wealth of information which she shares in just the right time and in such a clear way.  Cathy's sweet spirit and patience are a perfect balance to Susie and I am grateful that each of them shares her gifts with me.  Beth W

'I practice Tai Chi for health and longevity. I liked the good instruction, affable classmates and beautiful surroundings. Susan, I liked your detailed explanations and Cathy's good demonstrations of the moves.'  Paul D

The environment was wonderful. Woodberry is nice, Pace of class was good. Good to have written into. John C
